Artwork Guidelines

A Printing Service To Your Door

BUSINESS CARDS

To meet the requirements for your artwork, follow these steps:

1. Artwork Preparation:

  • Bleed:
    • Ensure your artwork has a 2.0mm bleed on all sides. This means your document size should be larger than the final trim size by 4.0mm (2.0mm on each side).

2. Color Mode:

  • CMYK:
    • Set the color mode of your document to CMYK to ensure accurate color reproduction during printing.
  • Black 100K:
    • For any black elements, use 100% K (Key/Black) only, without mixing other CMYK colors.

3. Text Conversion:

  • Convert Text to Paths:
    • Convert all text in your document to paths (outlines) to avoid font issues during printing.

4. Correct Dimensions:

  • Document Size:
    • Set your document size to the final dimensions of the printed artwork, plus the bleed. For example, if the final size is 100mm x 150mm, your document size should be 104mm x 154mm (to include the 2.0mm bleed on all sides).

5. Export to PDF:

  • PDF Format:
    • Export your artwork as a PDF. Ensure that the settings include the bleed and that it’s in CMYK color mode.

By following these steps, you can ensure your artwork meets the specified requirements for printing.
